Alivio, etc.

On Friday, September 28th, 2018, TKU shared a couple of tracks from the as-yet untitled score for contemporary dance recorded with Nacional Electrónica in June. Though this is the first time I've mentioned Alivio in this blog, it is not the first time we've shared music there. In fact, I have been working with Alivio since March 2014.

Alivio Open Mic was created by Eric Contreras and is a "garage salon", part art gallery, part open mic and performance space, part artisan market. Started in January 2014, Alivio is a monthly event in SELA (Southeast Los Angeles) and has been a supporter of TKU's work since the beginning.

I played two tracks: "We are in the Valley..." and "...and She Calls Us, Sweet Lord".
